Iskra Velitchkova

Iskra Velitchkova combines art and technology, creating both digital and physical works. With a background in data visualization, philosophy of technology, and strategy, she has advised a wide range of teams and projects over the years. Over time, however, questions began to matter more than answers. This shift, together with a persistent pursuit of beauty, structure, and meaning, led her to fully commit to art as a primary practice. Technology plays a central role in her creative process, serving as a tool for experimentation, reflection, and self-exploration. Through generative methods, she investigates the relationship between nature and intention, working with algorithms and randomness as artistic materials. At the core of her practice lies an ongoing inquiry into whether technology can meaningfully address fundamentally human questions. Her work has been exhibited internationally in cities including London, Paris, Milan, New York, Miami, Singapore, Mexico City, and Berlin. She has collaborated with galleries such as Kate Vass, Bright Moments, Feral File, and Unit London, and has participated in major art fairs, including Art Basel. Her work has been auctioned twice at Sotheby’s New York and at Christie’s New York, the latter in collaboration with Gucci.
