Nikita Diakur, an artist based in Germany, uses unconventional computer simulation techniques to depict everyday activities, bringing randomness and chaos into his animations. These methods result in unexpected and spontaneous outcomes, which are characteristic of his animation style.
Known as the "Ugly" filmmaker, Diakur has participated in several international exhibitions and festivals, receiving awards for his films "Ugly," "Fest," and "backflip." In 2021, he ventured into the crypto-art scene with his work "Sharing BBQ," part of the "Ugly" series.
Additionally, Diakur contributes to the arts community by conducting lectures and workshops. He has also been part of the Artists-in-Residence program at Q21 in Vienna and is a member of the European Film Academy.
