The title c(21,3) represents the combinatorial formula calculating and generating 1,330 unique combinations from twenty-one textual inversions, each embedding trained on distinct image sets to create a vast algorithmic sample space fusing portraiture, architecture, and urban motion. From this computational universe, I defined two subjective qualities as curatorial lenses, effectively becoming an instrument of measurement for intangible aspects of the self. Variable (Y) measured Aspiration: combinations expressing verticality, transcendence, and upward gaze. Variable (Z) measured Introspection: scoring for psychological depth and contemplative architectural frames. Once identified as realizations through my subjective assessment, both were processed through new video diffusion techniques to create the final animated works. The collection's title hints at a missing third choice: Variable (X), measuring Lateral Movement (social conformity and surface-level scrolling), was intentionally excluded. This curatorial act makes a definitive statement: identity construction emerges not from looking sideways at others, but through focused dialogue between our ambition to rise and courage to look within. c(21,3) is a meditation on deliberate choice, proving identity is found not in infinite possibilities, but in the refined selection of what truly matters.
