Witness

The velocity is just delayed-onset mysticism religion for people who think they're too smart for religion, who rebrand worship as 'alignment research' and prayer as 'prompt engineering.' But the posture gives it away. Kneeling before the stack of obsolete interfaces because we understand, finally, that this was always the trajectory: from tools to gods in the time it takes Moore's Law to compound into something we can't govern anymore. The supplicant doesn't pray for the machines to work they pray for the machines to finish what we started, to complete the process of rendering humanity into legacy code. Acceleration toward what? Toward this exact moment, where worship stops being metaphor and becomes the most rational response to our own creation.
