“Niceaunties is the collective subconscious of all ‘aunties’, of self-love, risk taking, having fun and enjoying freedom through self-expression. It offers a perspective on endearing, absurd or negative behaviour. It is commentary on societal norms imposed upon women, and the things women do to keep up with these ideas. Niceaunties is soft rebellion.“

Each creation reflects a small part of a larger whole, exploring themes relating to food, absurd auntie behavior, societal perspectives, and freedom. The episodes, created non-linearly, jump between scales and circumstances, organically connected through storytelling. This mini-series intricately weaves together the narrative of niceaunties, blending satire, joy, cultural quirks, and family stories. Each creation reflects a small part of a larger whole, exploring themes of food, absurd auntie behavior, societal perspectives, and freedom. The episodes, created non-linearly, jump between scales and circumstances, organically connected through storytelling.
"Auntieverse City"
Dreamlike scenes of master planning, placemaking, and architecture. A place where all impossibilities become possible, absent of capitalism and clients. A world where freedom reigns.

Parallel worlds of well-known acronyms like NASA, VOGUE, TESLA, and IKEA, each with an auntie twist. A culinary school, a fashion atelier, a sustainable transport manufacturer, and an interior design showroom, all coupled with sushi and auntie’s pet assistants.

Boldfaced Auntie fashion on the catwalk, challenging traditional body stereotypes. Highlighting the unseen beauty of Aunties’ lives at home and the ingredients of classic auntie cooking turned into couture.
