Costumes and disguises in my videos are more than just humorous elements; they are a medium to convey my awkward shyness. They create a deadpan atmosphere, symbolizing a sense of not fitting in with the surroundings. In this work, they also reflect a desire to hide and avoid household chores. Off-screen cleaning sounds underscore a theme of boredom, reminiscent of my reluctance to engage in housework as a child.… Vacuuming, doing the dishes, taking out the trash, etc. I spent my years growing up saying, 'Ma, I don't wanna do this.' So this piece is an absurd homage to that feeling. If my mom asks about me, tell her I’m busy doing videos.
