Nowhere Town is a video portrait of an enigmatic town with less than 500 souls, where the ordinary is overshadowed by the extraordinary. The residents are as peculiar as the silent train tracks and the surreal landscape, hosting bizarre animals and people with stories etched on their otherworldly faces.

Alsoguppyme makes surreal images out of the ordinary, twisting them until they feel both funny and unsettling. Midlife shifts leak into the work — the cracks, the restlessness, the changes you don’t quite have words for. She follows those glitches as they turn into strange reflections of daily life.
