Performing anatomies #2v

“Performing Anatomies #2v” is a video piece from my latest and continuously evolving collection— stemming from my second custom-trained AI model. This model has been trained using diverse bodily poses, daily actions, and the distinctive aesthetic reminiscent of the 1970s era. While the majority of creations within this collection take the form of still images which are not yet released, the inception of #1v marks one of my initial ventures into creating video animations with this model. I think of the works as “microcosmic performances” extracted from the fabric of daily existence. Each piece encapsulates mundane moments and familiar scenarios, seamlessly weaving together domestic interiors and outdoor settings. While universally relatable, these depictions are elevated by a nuanced interplay of wit and irony, infusing them with a distinctive flavor. The resulting amalgam is an assortment of absurd, illogical, and whimsically surreal episodes plucked from the canvas of ordinary life. Engaging in this creative endeavor has proven to be an exhilarating experience, as I revel in the liberty to harness the capabilities of this AI model. The process is characterized by an unrestrained sense of enjoyment, and I take great pleasure in the opportunities it affords me to further explore novel dimensions of artistic expression both with still images and video.
