The lifecycle of this organism begins as a nascent spore, emerging from the mineral-rich soils. Throughout its lifespan, the Avventurina Polymorphica undergoes morphological transmutations, adapting its appearance to environmental cues, rendering a kaleidoscopic spectacle of gender transformation and physical metamorphosis.

Emilia Trevisani is a visual artist based in Italy. For several years she worked as a journalist and videomaker, and began experimenting with new media art in 2020. A self-taught path through programming language, 3D scan, AI and generative art tools has led her to find a new voice to describe the world within and around her. Her investigation with AI mostly focuses on mutation status, inner visions, lucid dreams and little epiphanies.
