The majority of these specimens flourish in the proximity of freshwater pools, even in urban environments such as ponds in public parks. Blooming occurs once a year, typically in the month of January

Emilia Trevisani is a visual artist based in Italy. For several years she worked as a journalist and videomaker, and began experimenting with new media art in 2020. A self-taught path through programming language, 3D scan, AI and generative art tools has led her to find a new voice to describe the world within and around her. Her investigation with AI mostly focuses on mutation status, inner visions, lucid dreams and little epiphanies.
