About the artwork
Discovered by enthusiastic researchers at a depth of one meter beneath the earth's surface, this specimen encloses various species of hexapods within its embryonic structure. Despite more than three months having passed since the onset of laboratory observations, this species continues to remain in its embryonic form, leading scientists to consider that this may be its final evolutionary state.

Emilia Trevisani is a visual artist based in Italy. For several years she worked as a journalist and videomaker, and began experimenting with new media art in 2020. A self-taught path through programming language, 3D scan, AI and generative art tools has led her to find a new voice to describe the world within and around her. Her investigation with AI mostly focuses on mutation status, inner visions, lucid dreams and little epiphanies.
