About the artwork
This specimen, reminiscent of limpets, forms clustered colonies that emerge from the soil near sandy beaches. Its clusteres emerge in response to the composition of the sandy substrate, the lapping of the sea provides a rhythmic influence on its developmental patterns.

Emilia Trevisani is a visual artist based in Italy. For several years she worked as a journalist and videomaker, and began experimenting with new media art in 2020. A self-taught path through programming language, 3D scan, AI and generative art tools has led her to find a new voice to describe the world within and around her. Her investigation with AI mostly focuses on mutation status, inner visions, lucid dreams and little epiphanies.
