About the artwork
This piece draws inspiration from the atomic scientists' Doomsday Clock, a symbolic gauge of the world's proximity to catastrophic events like nuclear war and other existential threats to humanity. Presently, the global situation seems precariously balanced on a razor's edge, with various calamities unfolding worldwide, including climate change and wars spanning continents. The rapidity of these changes is alarming, marked by increasingly polarised political divisions and the destabilisation of societies. I’m hoping this worst case scenario doesn’t materialise.
