Fertile Crescent

This piece is a meditation on the origins of ritual, religion, and society. Starting with scenes of a formless prehistory, monolithic structures emerge out of the chaos. Using the Apocalypse Now assassination scene as a template - as well as an audio cue, there is a build up to a ritual sacrifice. The moment of decapitation symbolizes our separation from nature, a duality that has shaped humans relationship to our environment. Sound Design by Harry HD
