About the artwork
This piece begins with a meditation on human communication, building up into the inevitability of conflict and ultimately large scale industrialized war as we know it.
It explores this instinct using the collaged imagery of the present, juxtaposing celebratory montages with scenes of devastation in an attempt to evoke the chasm between our media depiction of war and the real thing.
