About the artwork
A kaleidoscopic visual symphony inspired by the psychedelic experience's ability to distort and amplify sensory perception.
This artwork makes use of symmetry and repetition to anchor a visual stream of consciousness. It embodies the fluidity of form, as well as a relentless metamorphosis of saturated patterns that mirror the mind's perpetual conflict between the conscious and subconscious.

Katie Morris is a Scottish artist currently based in Glasgow, UK, pursuing an honors degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, a renowned institution in the United Kingdom. Morris's practice is characterized by combining traditional techniques with contemporary technology.
She explores the human experience with a keen focus on unraveling the relationship between technology, creativity, and contemporary life through a diverse range of mediums that allow her to navigate surrealism and venture into the subconscious mind, transcending the extremities of reality.
