An experimental addition to the 'Chronosynthesis' series.
Through the altering of the genetic makeup of imagery, a series of fleeting and distorted faces that challenge our perception of the familiar emerge. This deconstruction and reassembling of the mundane unearths hidden layers, patterns and unexpected beauty, shifting the ordinary to the unexpected.

Katie Morris is a Scottish artist currently based in Glasgow, UK, pursuing an honors degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, a renowned institution in the United Kingdom. Morris's practice is characterized by combining traditional techniques with contemporary technology.
She explores the human experience with a keen focus on unraveling the relationship between technology, creativity, and contemporary life through a diverse range of mediums that allow her to navigate surrealism and venture into the subconscious mind, transcending the extremities of reality.
