I gaze upon the chaos at the buffet. Pigs sit poised like guests only to soon become the main course. A thought gnaws at me: In this cycle of consumption, who really holds the power? Is it the eater, ever hungry, or the eaten, who silently shapes the feast's end?

Katie Morris is a Scottish artist currently based in Glasgow, UK, pursuing an honors degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, a renowned institution in the United Kingdom.
