About the artwork
What is so special to the eye series is that it was at this point we felt we were onto something super interesting. It appeared to us that if something, or someone, had facial features, especially an eye, it seemed alive. It was looking at us, and I caught myself wondering what it thought. This work in particular is my favorite because I just can't seem to look away and drift off in thought about these subjects. What could these technologies become? What are they right now? Is it alive? Can it become Alive? What does being alive even mean? AI-generated video created in collaboration with multiple AI models using shot footage as the basis.
