This video challenges the perception of food; hybrid creatures made of a potpourri of everyday things such as pets and sushi twitch and move around to the sound of a ringing phone, this creates a sense of surreal discomfort and bewilderment. This idea was loosely inspired by the saying ‘you are what you eat’ and the southern Chinese culture of ‘eating anything that moves’.
