About the artwork
The AI video imagines the sense of confusion and physical exhaustion through a collection of strange footages at home. Familiar household objects, plastic furniture and pets morph and twitch in a haphazard manner in an empty household, seemingly excited. Sleeping scenes of hybrid plastic-pet-aunties suggest the state of physical fatigue. The sound design by Niceaunties utilises the indoor ambience of typical quiet interiors, interjected by radio sounds. The video is made with the AI programme Midjourney and animated with Runwayml Gen2.
