About the artwork
I did some research on former YouTubers, and as a result, I decided to create a visual piece based on the mental struggles of the one I chose.
It’s just like your child watching the “happy family” lie in hamburger commercials! No matter how cute it looks, it's packed with industrial ugliness underneath.
You order a hamburger (🍔→ you consume).
The hamburger app collects your data (📱→ it consumes you).
The algorithm floods you with new ads (🔁→ the cycle begins again).

Nohygiene was born in 1994. He completed his master’s degree by studying G. Bataille. Nohygiene is an artist whose artworks are based on lack of emotion and eroticism. Currently, he is continuing his doctorate education in Anadolu University Department of Sculpture (2019- …) on the limits of form.
