About the artwork
Cardinal presents an open ended narrative in under a minute that tells a story that uses symbolism and metaphor and leaves room for the viewer to put their own ideas into what it could mean. I have my own reasons for why I used the symbols and elements that I did. Utilising Midjourney for storyboarding, Luma Labs, Topaz AI for interpolation and slow motion, rate stretching and reversing footage, there are many little techniques employed to create a smooth moving result.

Nuclear Samurai is an artist with a background in commercial photography, and fine art photography.
He has worked for years as a studio photographer and studied a fine art degree majoring in photography. His work often considers topics such as truth in images, identity and persona in the digital era, and musings on absurdities in the way society is structured.
His visual style is often inspired by a photographic, subtle surrealism, that leans heavily on the cinematic language of film to convey narratives and emotions.
