Especially when traveling
What I remember: I used to take loads and loads of pictures - especially when traveling. Everywhere I went I had my camera ready to shoot at anything that I deemed worthy of its attention. Cataloging my experiences, thoughts, feelings and by that taking control of an unfamiliar situation, putting it into a familiar structure and activity. Reading Susan Sontag’s “On Photography” has brought a lot of clarity for my photographic practice. Travel photography is such a trivial yet often voyeuristic and imperial activity.

Expanding their artistic horizon, Objektpermanenz has been integrating AI into their creative process, developing their own models to craft post-photographic visuals and AI-generated videos. This innovative approach has led to exhibitions in various cultural hubs, including Cologne, Paris, Barcelona, and New York, showcasing their dynamic digital photographic compositions. Through their art, they challenge and deconstruct the traditional notions of gender and heritage, offering a reflection of their evolving personal journey
