Riviera is a contemplative piece by Panaviscope, inspired by the atmosphere of Scorsese’s Casino and the aesthetics of 1970s Riviera life. Echoing themes present throughout the artist’s current series, the work reflects on the inescapability of the past and the quiet tension beneath moments of luxury and escape. Through a carefully crafted visual and musical composition, the piece invites the viewer into a reflective state. The soundtrack deepens this mood, offering a space for introspection and emotional resonance.

Panaviscope (a.k.a Alex Duloz) is a visual artist and multi-instrumentalist from Geneva, Switzerland, who composes, sings, and plays all the instruments you can hear on his tracks. Panaviscope is as much a visual project as it is a musical one, with a focus on evoking nostalgia for a fantasized era.
Alex studied arts in Los Angeles, where he trained in 3D, classical animation, and drawing. It was there that he learned coding, with a strong focus on generative code using JavaScript. His tracks have been played on national indie radios in France and Switzerland, among other countries.
Alex employs various cutting-edge techniques with the intention of creating timeless pieces, ranging from depth maps to granular synthesis.
