"What Doesn’t Want to Be Uncovered Always Ends Up Being So" is part of Panaviscope’s ongoing series exploring the balance between early AI aesthetics and contemporary techniques. As in much of his work, a strong narrative tension runs beneath the surface, here, through the implied story of a young woman entering a forest and uncovering something that was meant to stay hidden. Themes of buried pasts, disruption, and transformation echo throughout the piece. The immersive, cinematic soundtrack invites quiet reflection, encouraging viewers to project their own meaning and experience a form of catharsis.

Panaviscope (a.k.a Alex Duloz) is a visual artist and multi-instrumentalist from Geneva, Switzerland, who composes, sings, and plays all the instruments you can hear on his tracks. Panaviscope is as much a visual project as it is a musical one, with a focus on evoking nostalgia for a fantasized era.
Alex studied arts in Los Angeles, where he trained in 3D, classical animation, and drawing. It was there that he learned coding, with a strong focus on generative code using JavaScript. His tracks have been played on national indie radios in France and Switzerland, among other countries.
Alex employs various cutting-edge techniques with the intention of creating timeless pieces, ranging from depth maps to granular synthesis.
