‘Just browsing... but now I'm trapped’

The minimalist, almost sterile interior of the store, with its neatly arranged racks and shelves, initially feels calm and straightforward. However, as you delve deeper, the atmosphere subtly shifts —the store that once seemed so ordinary begins to feel like a maze, where the exit is elusive. This work captures the paradox of modern shopping: a place where endless choices can sometimes feel like a trap, turning what should be a quick visit into a complex, unending journey.

When I created this piece, I envisioned a journey through a corridor where the warm light and the arrangement of elements work together to create a calming yet enigmatic atmosphere. This work captures that overwhelming feeling when a home renovation seems to stretch on forever, with no end in sight. The rooms are in disarray, walls are crumbling, and debris is scattered everywhere—it's as if time has stood still in the midst of chaos. The mess and the damage reflect the frustration and exhaustion that come with a project that feels like it will never be finished.
