About the artwork
Maze Hunter: Ghost Protocol' is the inaugural AI video of the "Gamez: Unearthed" series. In it we discover the fictional work of "ShadowCode", an extinct video game development company that tried to remain critical to the time, and advise, educate and reflect on various social issues of the time.
The AI video is an invitation to reflect on the potential hazard of addictive video games that make players addict to the adrenaline of playing. The resemblance to games such as Doom and Pac-Man, make us go back in time as spectators, while experiencing the pleasent weirdness of AI video works.
Join me on a journey through a series of fictitious games, united by a shared storyline, where pixel art and arcade aesthetics merge in a micro-universe.
