quase

Quase is the digital facet of a Brazilian artist whose work explores the phenomenon of the image in the contemporary world. Across various media, he investigates techniques of representation, seeking to juxtapose language and iconography. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, creating images, objects and installations. He has also worked as a designer for contemporary art galleries. In 2021-22, he shifted his practice exclusively to the digital realm, beginning to experiment with generative media and to use blockchain to document that process.
