Glass cage
A pattern of dust, solid, distorting the world. It protects you from the thorns that wound so deeply. It softly floats around you, slowly shifting. It speaks to you as if it wants to tell you the purpose of this gift.
You want to escape, but it catches up. You almost touch, but only almost.

Iv Solyaev lives and works in Tbilisi.
He has worked in digital graphics since 2003 and has taken part in many major projects both as a concept artist and art director. His clients include Universal Pictures, HBO, Nintendo, Intel, MPC, DNEG and Adult Swim. His art has also been featured in international exhibitions. He uses a mixture of all actual kind of digital techniques to create dark, pleasing compositions woven from interpretations of natural patterns. His work focuses on the sensation of textures and inner mythologies.
