Following Peach Boy and Alice in Wonderland, this is my third story-based work. This time, I chose the familiar story of Little Red Riding Hood as the subject.
I had started making this piece several times before, but I was never satisfied with the results and ended up abandoning it each time. This time, using MiniMax H3’s Start/End Frame feature, I finally feel like I was able to make something interesting.
H3’s psychedelic and bizarre visual direction was incredibly fun to work with, and it surprised me again and again throughout the process.
I deliberately chose not to keep the characters’ appearances completely consistent. I only fixed a few basic characteristics: a girl in a red hood carrying a basket, a huntress in a green hood, a werewolf, and an old woman. I wanted to leave a certain amount of visual instability and capture the kind of transformation that happens in dreams—where someone who is person A in one moment can somehow become person B in the next.
For the music, I aimed for an ’80s hardcore feel. It’s a little noisy, but I think that intensity adds even more momentum to the video.

I have always been obsessed with laughter, having written countless scripts for sketches and manzaicomedy—not as a performer, but as a writer. The performers would take my scripts and elevate them, interpreting them in ways that made the laughter shine brighter.
Yet within me grew a desire to pursue something sharper, stranger—laughter so radical it might no longer even be laughter at all. Perhaps no one else would laugh, but it would be mine alone.
This vision could not be expressed through words, nor could it be performed by someone else. It belonged entirely to the realm of imagination—unrealizable, until now. In my restless search, the times gifted me with a remarkable technology. AI appeared before me as a new kind of performer.
