Part 2: Is It Cake?
This piece forced its way through.
One of the reasons why I like AI films is because they dwell in the uncanny enough to own it and use it.
“Is that real?”
This kind of thought process resonated with my personal history, in particular with the feeling of questioning the surface of my behavior, which led me to bring the food topic in therapy and get better.
I left the violence I know, the violence my peers know, the trauma, in the black screen. Time doesn’t heal you, but it sure is useful to get some distance.
