About the artwork
The attempt to bring the organic world closer to the virtual one has always been an important stimulus for Scerbo.
This work embodies the rhythm of reflective panagérics that for many years have been prodding Scerbo's mind towards the desire to master a form of totally hybrid technology, in which the physical perceptual level can be experienced digitally with the same intensity as the carnal experience.
Electrochemical exchanges between molecular particles, tracking of alien DNA and human marrow. All thoughts expressed in output infused with targeted borderline prompts for the sole purpose of creating video art totally independent of the concepts just expressed here.

Scerbo is an Italian contemporary artist currently living and working in Biella (Italy), whose practice explores the contradictions between human history and natures. Following a path of programming and philosophical studies, Scerbo's artistic path rose from an internal quest to find a form of expression that could concretize his reflections on existence while conveying a message of pure and unadulterated reflection of the present.
A series of experiments with drawings, paintings, abstract sculptures, and videos followed, culminating in 2019 with the discovery of photography and digital painting as the most poetic and intimate means of exploring the relationship between the body and the new. Scerbo, in fact, views photography as the means to absorb and impart tangible meaning to abstract, indeterminate and existential conditions stored within light. The basis of their research, leading to their first minted work on SuperRare, “Photogravity” (March 2022).
An intuitive approach to the image that strives for a perceptive dissociation that separates seeing from hearing, transcending photography into the realm of abstract painting, which embodies a rhythmic vibration on a more subtle, essential level. Today Scerbo is evolving towards a hybridization of their photographic work with AI, where the dominant meanings of their practice related to the body are finding expansion experimental language.
